Nikolina Bozicevic is a Croatian volleyball player. She plays as a libero for the Romanian club CSM Targoviste and Croatia women’s national volleyball team. She is a Mediterranean Games champion and two-time European Golden League silver medalist with the national team, as well as a CEV Cup bronze medalist.
Nikolina Bozicevic was born on January 14, 1995, in Zagreb, Croatia. She started in volleyball at an early age, showing great talent. She played for the youth team of HAOK Mladost, where developed her skills.
Nikolina Bozicevic turned professional in 2008, playing for her home club HAOK Mladost. She stayed for seven seasons in the volleyball club, winning the Croatian League in 2013/2014 season and the Croatian Cup in 2014/2015 season. She also won the silver at the Croatian Cup in 2009/2010 and the Croatian League in 2014/2015, as well as the bronze at the Croatian Cup in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 and Croatian League 2009/2010. She also played at the CEV Cup and Challenge Cup. Nikolina Bozicevic was called for Croatia U20 in 2012 to play at the Junior European Championship Qualification in 2012 and World Championship European Qualification U20 in 2013. In 2014, she debuted for the senior Croatian national team, to play at the World Grand Prix. In 2015, she played at the European Championships and European Games. In the 2015/2016 season, Nikolina Bozicevic and HAOK Mladost made a double in Croatia, winning the Croatian League and Croatian Cup, as well as finishing 5th at the MEVZA Cup.
In 2016, Nikolina Bozicevic signed with another elite Croatian volleyball club OK Marina Kastela. In her maiden season with the team, they made a treble, winning the Croatian League, Croatian Cup, and Croatian Supercup, but also played in the Challenge Cup. During the season, she played with the national team at the European Championship and World Grand Prix. In 2018, OK Marina Kastela won the Croatian Supercup and the bronze at the Croatian Cup, but Nikolina Bozicevic made her biggest achievements with the national team, winning the gold at the 2018 Tarragona Mediterranean Games and finishing 7th in the European Golden League.
In 2018, she made a transfer to the Hungarian volleyball club Vasas Obuda. In her only season with the club, she won the Hungarian Extraliga and earned the bronze at the Hungarian Cup, but also finished 9th at the Challenge Cup. With the national team, Nikolina Bozicevic won the silver at the European Golden League and bronze at the Gloria Cup. She also played at the European Championships 2019, where the Croatian women’s national volleyball team finished 11th.
In 2019, Nikolina Bozicevic moved to Finland to play for Polkky Kuusamo, but the season was shortened by the coronavirus pandemic and she failed to make some more significant achievements.
Nikolina Bozicevic signed with the Romanian elite club CSU Belor Galați in 2020. In her only season with the club, they did not achieve some significant success, finishing 9th in the Romanian League and 5th in the Romanian Cup. However, with the national team, she performed strongly, winning the silver at the European Golden League, and also playing at the European Championships.
In 2022, Nikolina Bozicevic signed with her current volleyball club CSM Targoviste. In her maiden season with the club, they won the silver at the Romanian League, Romanian Cup, and the Romanian Supercup, while with the national team earned the bronze at the European Golden League. In the 2022/2023 season, her team won the bronze at the CEV Cup and also the silver at the Romanian League and Romanian Cup.
