Cris Cyborg refused a doping test in Bellator

Former UFC fighter Cat Zingano claims that Bellator featherweight champion Cris Cyborg refuses a doping test. Recently, Cat Zingano has been pushing for a fight with Cris Cyborg for the title. The current champion agreed and was ready to fight in March.

Unfortunately, this will not happen. Cat Zingano shared on social media that Cris Cyborg does not want to be tested for banned substances. This was the reason why Bellator pitted her against another Bellator contestant to nominate a contender for the title.

“I heard that Cris Cyborg refused a doping test. I already know my opponent’s name for a battle scheduled for March 11. Our fight will nominate a contender for the title”, wrote Cat Zingano on social media. “This will give someone time to tighten up and fix their problems so that we can fight before the summer”, added she.

It seems that Cat Zingano will make another battle, and only then will she fight Cris Cyborg.

Cat Zingano is an American MMA fighter, who has a personal MMA record of 12-4-0 (W-L-D). She is in a series of two consecutive wins versus Gabrielle Holloway (via unanimous decision) and Olivia Parker (via armbar submission).
