The first quarter started with a confident advance for the visitors of Connecticut Sun, who took a lead of 10 points quite easily. Their opponents tried to show some resistance in the middle of the part, but in the end, however, they finished with 15 points in advance.

Jonquel Jones and DeWanna Bonner were the most effective players for the team Connecticut Sun with 20 points and 19 points respectively. Courtney Williams added 18 points for the success of her teammates.
For the team Las Vegas Aces, Jackie Young scored 26 points and Kelsey Plum added 23 points, but this was not enough for the win of their team.
