Connecticut Sun defeated Las Vegas Aces in a match from the WNBA, thus keeping its leading position in the Eastern Conference. However, the win did not come so easy and the players of Connecticut Sun were on the verge in the last quarter. In the end, they won 97-90 (37-22, 16-28, 25-22, 19-18).

The first quarter started with a confident advance for the visitors of Connecticut Sun, who took a lead of 10 points quite easily. Their opponents tried to show some resistance in the middle of the part, but in the end, however, they finished with 15 points in advance.

The second quarter started as good as the first finished, and Connecticut Sun increased their lead to 19 points. However, Las Vegas Aces returned to the match after a great 13 points series in the end of the quarter and reduced the lead of the visitors to only 3 points.

The third quarter was quite more equal and in the beginning, both teams were just 1 point difference. However, in the end, Connecticut Sun succeeded to take some lead and finished the quarter with 6 points in their favor.

The last quarter was really dramatic, as the basketball players of Connecticut Sun almost secured their win in the beginning, but made a terrible mistake to allow Las Vegas Aces to reduce their lead to only 3 points. However, the final run for the visitors brought them the win with 97-90.

Jonquel Jones and DeWanna Bonner were the most effective players for the team Connecticut Sun with 20 points and 19 points respectively. Courtney Williams added 18 points for the success of her teammates.

For the team Las Vegas Aces, Jackie Young scored 26 points and Kelsey Plum added 23 points, but this was not enough for the win of their team.
