Coco Gauff: I didn’t play well

The American tennis player Cori “Coco” Gauff, who was eliminated in the third round of the Wimbledon tennis tournament by Amanda Anisimova with 1-2 (7:6, 2:6, 1:6), said that she did not play well in the match.

“There are just days like that. I’ll have to train more to make sure I have fewer moments like this”, said Coco Gauff. “Tennis is like that. Some days you play great. As in the second round here. I think I played excellent tennis then. I played well in France too, but I think that match was my best since the French Open”, added she.

Тхе 20-year-old Amanda Anisimova (USA) commented that it is exciting that American tennis players are doing well at the moment of the tournament.

“I think we have some pretty good competitors. It was also exciting in the match against Koko to represent our side on the Center Court. I am proud of my country for having such strong tennis players”, said Amanda Anisimova.
