Chicago Sky takes a lead in the semi-finals play-off of the WNBA

Chicago Sky takes a lead in the semi-finals play-off versus Connecticut Sun of the WNBA after a visitor’s victory by 76-72 (18-21, 22-17, 16-17, 20-17). The match was dramatic but gave an advantage to Chicago Sky by 2-1 in the play-off and they are just a step from the finals.

Connecticut Sun took a lead in the first quarter, but Chicago Sky overturned the game in the second one. The third was almost a draw and everything was to be decided in the last. A strong last impetus by Chicago Sky gave them an advantage of 6 points, which was enough for them to win the match.

The most valuable player of Chicago Sky was Candace Parker with 16 pts, 11 rebs, and 4 asts. Kahleah Copper added 15 pts, while Emma Meesseman scored 13 pts for the success.

For Connecticut Sun, DeWanna Bonner was the most successful with 18 pts, 11 rebs, and 4 asts. Natisha Hiedeman and Brionna Jones added 14 and 12 pts, respectively, but their team lost the third semi-finals play-off.

The fourth match between the two teams is on Sepember 7th.
