Despite the pressure of Chelsea Women and the nine goal attempts, the team failed to score due to a good job of the Liverpool Women’s defense. However, a late goal by Samantha Kerr in the 86th minute gave the 3 points to Chelsea Women.
Thus, Chelsea Women registered a second consecutive win and now is third in the standings with 43 points, just a point from the second Manchester City WFC and the leader Manchester United WFC. However, Chelsea Women are 2 matches less than their opponents for the title.
