Champion Jonna Sundling did not answer a call from the Swedish Prime Minister

The new Olympic champion Jonna Sundling had more than the usual questions she had to answer after her dominant victory in the women’s cross-country sprint. Meanwhile, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson failed to contact her by phone after the race.

The 27-year-old reigning world champion beat the competition to bring Sweden’s first medal at the Beijing 2022 Olympics, and was surprised to learn that comes a call from Magdalena Andersson.
