Reigning world hammer throw champion Camryn Rogers (Canada) has added Olympic gold to her collection of honurs. The Canadian recorded 76.97m in her fifth attempt to secure the title in Paris.
Nigerian-born with US passport Annette Echikunwoke won silver with 75.48m and Zhao Jie (China) took bronze with 74.27m.
Three-time Olympic champion Anita Wlodarczyk (Poland) was just 4 centimeters away from the bronze medal after finishing fourth with 74.23m.
The Top 5 was completed by Silja Kosonen (Finland) with 74.04m.
