Vangeliya Rachkovska is a Bulgarian volleyball player, who plays as an Outside Hitter for the Turkish club TED Ankara Kolejliler and the Bulgarian women’s national team. She won the title at the European Golden League 2021 and the bronze at the World Championships U23 2017 with the national teams, as well as the Bulgarian League at club level.
Vangeliya Rachkovska was born on July 19, 1997 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She started playing volleyball as a child and showed great skills. Already in 2013, she was called for the Bulgaria U19 national team to play at qualifications and the European Championships U19 2014 tournament, where finished 5th. In the next season, she played for Bulgaria U20 to finish 5th at the World Championships U20 2015.
Vangeliya Rachkovska started her professional career with VC Maritza in 2015, becoming Bulgarian League Champion and the runner-up at the Bulgarian Cup 2015/2016. She also played with the club at CEV Cup.
In 2016, she signed with another Bulgarian club – Rakovski, winning the bronze at the Bulgarian League 2016/2017. her biggest achievement during the season was, winning the bronze at the World Championships U23 2017.
In 2017, Vangeliya Rachkovska signed with Levski Sofia. She stayed in the club for three seasons, winning three times the Bulgarian League silver, as well as the Bulgarian Cup silver and bronze. She played with the team at the Challenge Cup 2017/2018 and CEV Cup 2018/2019. She also played with the national team at the European Championships 2019.
Vangeliya Rachkovska signed with the Hungarian UTE Budapest. She stayed with the club only one season and finished 5th in the Hungarian Extraliga and 4th in the Hungarian Cup. With the national team, she won gold at the European Golden League 2021.
In 2021, Vangeliya Rachkovska signed with the Polish team Joker Swiecie to play in the TAURON Liga. The team finished 14th at the TAURON Liga 2021/2022, as well as the 9th at the Polish Cup and 4th at the PreZero Grand Prix PLS.
In 2022, Vangeliya Rachkovska signed with the Omag-MG San Giovanni in Marignana to play in the Italian Serie A2. The team finished 4th in the Italian Serie A2 and 5th in the Italian Cup A2.
In 2023, Vangeliya Rachkovska moved to Turkey and signed with her current club TED Ankara Kolejliler to play in the Türkiye Kadınlar Voleybol 1. Ligi.
