Bulgarian gymnasts had a complete triumph at the Grand Prix tournament in the Spanish city of Marbella, after Eva Brezalieva, Boryana Kaleyn and Stiliana Nikolova won all the awards.

Eva Brezalieva played most steadily in all her combinations and won the gold medal in the all-around with a total of 124.050 points. Second place went to Boryana Kaleyn with 119.080 points, and the bronze medal went to Stiliana Nikolova with 118.350 points.

The compositions of the Bulgarian women are very difficult, in accordance with the new rules and it was deliberately sought by the coaching staff to show each one in its characteristic style and presence on the carpet.

In the finals tomorrow, Eva Brezalieva will play on all four devices, Stiliana Nikolova in three finals (hoop, ball, and bats), and Boryana Kaleyn is a finalist on tape.

Eva Brezalieva enters the hoop with the highest score of 32.300 points, which is the highest in the tournament, and Stiliana Nikolova is the second strongest with 31.350 points. On the ball again Eva Brezalieva has the first score of 30.850, and Stiliana Nikolova has 29.400 points. On bats, Stiliana Nikolova ranked with the highest score of the device – 31.600 points, and Eva Brezalieva in with a second strength of 30.950 points. On the tape, Boryana Kaleyn received the highest score of 31.500, and Eva Brezalieva entered the final with a second – 29.950 points.

The ensemble of Bulgaria for women consisting of Vaya Draganova, Elena Georgieva, Petya Borisova, Zhenina Trashlieva, Bilyana Vezirska and Sofia Ivanova showed their composition with five hoops, as there is no competition in Marbella. The Bulgarians made mistakes, but really the combination showed its scale and originality.
