Rayanne Dos Santos is a Brazilian MMA fighter, who competes in the Strawweight division of the UFC. She is a former Invicta FC Atomweight champion and multiple Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion, as well as one of the top Atomweight mixed martial artists in the world. Her personal MMA record is 14-6-0 (W-L-D).
Rayanne Amanda dos Santos was born on June 8, 1995, in Belem, Brazil. She started in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai at an early age and gained great abilities and skills, which later helped her in the MMA. She gained amateur experience in fights across Brazil.
Rayanne Dos Santos made her professional MMA debut in 2015 at the Rec Combat 5. She faced Jessica Evelyn Monteiro and won the first via body kick and punches TKO in the second round. Although having a good start, she did not make any other professional fighter in the next year and a half.
In 2017, Rayanne Dos Santos signed with the Sombra Fight Champions promoter, where made a debut in October versus Leidiane do Socorro da Silva and won the fight via rear-naked choke submission in the first round. In January 2018, she had another fight at the Sombra Fight Champions, but this time lost to Naizi Cantanhede via split decision. In June 2018, Rayanne Dos Santos had a fight at the BTC 3 – Prophecy, facing Lindsay Garbatt, and registered her second loss via majority decision. By the end of 2018, she made two more professional MMA fights and returned to the wins, defeating Tatiane Ramos do Vale at Sombra Fight Champions 8 and Lindsay Garbatt at BTC 4 – Vendetta via, both via armbar submission in the first rounds. On August 29, 2019, Rayanne Dos Santos recorded her fifth professional MMA win versus Shirley Coutinho Duarte at Sombra Fight Champions 13 after a unanimous decision.
On October 26, 2019, she made a professional fight versus Isabela de Padua at the Standout Fighting Tournament 17 and registered her third loss TKO in the first round.
In 2020, Rayanne Dos Santos signed for two fights at Shooto Brazil. In September she lost to Edna Oliveira Ajala at Shooto Brazil 101, while in December won versus Maiara Amanajas dos Santos at Shooto Brazil 106, both via unanimous decision.
In 2021, Rayanne Dos Santos recorded an incredible five professional MMA fights. She won the fight versus Alexia Santana de Queiroz at the Ipixuna Fight Champions 12 via armbar submission in the first round and lost to Alexia Thainara at the Arena Global 12 via rear-naked choke submissions in the second round. In October, she smashed Daniela Ribeiro dos Santos at the Azevedo Fight Combat 01 and Maria Luciana Santos de Farias at the Maximum Impacto Fight 14, both via armbar submission in the first round. In December, she recorded a victory versus Fabiola Barroso at Benevides Combat via TKO in the second round.
At the beginning of 2022, Rayanne Dos Santos achieved her eleventh MMA win, defeating Jucilene Cabra at the Benevides Combat 02 via armbar submission in the first round, while in August she competed at the Dana White’s Contender Series, but lost to Denise Gomes via unanimous decision. On October 24, 2022, she won her fight versus Vitoria Karolina Cardoso at Mag Fight 01 via technical armbar submission.
Rayanne Dos Santos signed with Invicta FC at the end of 2022, but made her debut in January 2023, winning her fight versus Katie Saull at Invicta FC 51 via unanimous decision.
On May 3, 2023, Rayanne Dos Santos faced Jillian DeCoursey in the Atomweight title bout and the main event of the Invicta FC 53. She won the fight via unanimous decision.
In October 2023, it was announced that Rayanne Dos Santos signed with the UFC.
