Brazil will host the 2025 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships

The World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in 2025 will be held in Brazil. This was decided at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which met for the last time this year in Dhaka (Bangladesh).

Gymnastics has been part of the country’s history since it became an independent nation in 1971, and the Bangladesh Gymnastics Federation was established a year later. The hard work and dedication of all stakeholders paid off, culminating in the first-ever Bangladeshi gymnast taking part in the London 2012 Olympics.

One of the decisions made is that the 41st World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will be held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) from August 20 to 24, 2025.

The 29th World Acrobatics Championship in 2024 will not take place in Holon (Israel). The planet championship will be held there in 2026.
