Brazil smashed Puerto Rico at the 2022 Women’s Volleyball World Cup

Brazil’s women’s national volleyball team recorded its sixth victory at the World Cup, which is being held in Poland and the Netherlands. Jose Roberto Lages Guimaraes-led team smashed Puerto Rico by 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-15) in a Group E match played in Rotterdam.

Brazil occupies the second position with 17 points (6 wins, 1 loss), while Puerto Rico is 7th with 6 points (2 wins, 5 losses).

For Brazil, Ana Carolina da Silva was the top scorer with 16 points (2 aces, 7 blocks), while Priscila Daroit scored 11 points (2 aces, 2 blocks).

For Puerto Rico, Pilar Marie Victoria scored 6 points (1 ace, 1 block).
