Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu talked about how this season is going for her.
“I think I’m doing better than I expected. I’m trying not to have any expectations for this season, but it’s definitely better than I thought. Now I put much less pressure on myself”, said the 22-year-old Bianca Andreescu.
After winning the US Open in 2019, the tennis player faced psychological problems as well as some injuries, the worst being in her lower back.
Bianca Andreescu is currently 57th in the WTA rankings. The Canadian showed her best result this season at the tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany, where she reached the final.
Yesterday, the former world’s No 4 defeated the Russian Liudmila Samsonova in the 1st round of the WTA 250 San Diego Open by 2-1 (7:6, 4:6, 6:2).
