Bernarda Pera (USA) cruised through Shuai Zhang (China) to reach the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Guangzhou Open. The American tennis player defeated her opponent by 2-0 (6:2, 6:2) in 65 minutes to overcome the Round of 16.
The match started equally with both players winning their service games without giving a breakpoint to their opponent.
