Belgian figure skater launched fundraising to participate at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics

Belgian figure skater Loena Hendrickx has announced a fundraising account to travel to Beijing and participate in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

“I hope to be in Beijing soon to represent Belgium for the second time at the Winter Olympics. But for that to happen, I need all the financial support I can get. If you want to support me, use the button for donation. Financial support is more than welcome, regardless of the amount. Every euro will matter to me”, wrote the figure skater on her personal website.

The 22-year-old Loena Hendrickx finished 18th at the Pyongyang 2018 Winter Olympics. She finished fourth at the recent European Championships in Tallinn. She also won a bronze medal at the 2021 Italian Grand Prix and was fifth at last year’s World Championships.

The Beijing Olympics will be held from February 4 to 20.
