Barbora Krejcikova won the WTA 500 San Diego Open title

The fourth-seeded Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic) won the WTA 500 San Diego Open women’s tournament with a prize pool of 780,637 USD. The Czech tennis player defeated Sofia Kenin (USA) by 2-1 (6:4, 2:6, 6:4) in 2:40 hours of play.

Barbora Krejcikova started hesitantly and conceded two breaks, but still managed to win 6:4. Sofia Kenin gradually found her playing rhythm and managed to take the second set after 6:2. The Czech tennis player made a classy performance and showed strong nerves in the decisive third set.
