Barbora Krejcikova defeated Elena Rybakina to reach Wimbledon final

Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic) qualified for the final of the Wimbledon tennis championship. The Czech tennis player, who is 31st-seeded, defeated the 2022 champion Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) by 2-1 (3:6, 6:3, 6:4).

Elena Rybakina, who is fourth-seeded in the main draw, took the lead in the match after three breaks in her favor and 6:3 in the first set. The Czech tennis player broke for 4-2 in the second set to level the score of the match at 6-3.

In the last set, Barbora Krejcikova won Elena Rybakina‘s serve for 4:3 and ended the match at her first opportunity after two hours and seven minutes on the center court.

The Czech has won all three of her matches so far against the Moscow-born tennis player. Roland Garros 2021 champion Barbora Krejcikova will play Jasmine Paolini in the Wimbledon final.

Barbora Krejcikova has a victory in her only match with the Italian tennis player. The two faced each other in the 2018 Australian Open qualifiers and the Czech won easily in straight sets.
