The Romanian basketball team ASC Sepsi-SIC defeated the Turkish team Bursa by 89-72 (29-14, 19-23, 17-18, 24-17) as a guest in Turkey in a match of the third round in Group E of the EuroCup women’s basketball tournament. The success was the third in a row for ASC Sepsi-SIC, who leads the temporary ranking in the group, and Bursa suffered a third consecutive defeat.
Britney Jones was the most effective for ASC Sepsi-SIC’s victory and scored 23 pts, 4 rebs and 7 asts for the Romanian squad. Borislava Hristova was the starter and finished second in scoring with 21 pts, 7 rebs and 4 asts in 32 minutes in play.
