ASC Sepsi-SIC continues its winning streak in the Romanian women’s basketball championship. The team defeated Agronomia Bucuresti by 85:54 (24:10, 20:14, 21:19, 20:11) as a guest in a match of the third round.

Maria Jespersen was the most valuable for ASC Sepsi-SIC with 14 pts, 5 rebs, and 3 asts, while Ivana Kmetovska scored 13 pts and 4 rebs. Bulgarian basketball player Borislava Hristova entered as a reserve and scored 12 pts, 6 rebs, 2 asts, and in 24:46 minutes in play.

Anca Sipos was the MVP of the match with 23 pts, 5 rebs and 1 ast, while her teammate Mihaela Panait added 17 pts, 3 rebs, and 6 asts.

ASC Sepsi-SIC has three consecutive victories in the championship of Romania, and on October 29 will play with Olimpia Brasov.

In the other matches of the round, Cluj Napoca won versus CSBT Alexandria by 59-51, while Olimpia Brasov lost to FCC ICIM Arad by 65-70. Municipal Targoviste registered its second consecutive loss in the championship to Targu Secuiesc by 53-73. CSM Constanta won the match versus Targu Mures by 81-50.
