The world’s tennis number one Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) didn’t have much trouble against Maria Sakkari (Greece) in her first match of the WTA Finals in Cancun (Mexico) after starting the match with 11 consecutive game wins. She won the matches by 2-0 (6:0, 6:1) in only 76 minutes.
The Belarusian tennis player recorded 17 winners against only 8 got her opponent, while Maria Sakkari made 19 unforced errors. This made the big difference in the match, which gave a comfortable start for Aryna Sabalenka in the WTA Finals, where the Top 8 players in the WTA will face for the prestigious trophy.
Maria Sakkari entered the tournament at the last minute as he had to replace the injured Karolina Muchova (Czech Republic).
