Aryna Sabalenka gave only 4 games to Lucia Bronzetti to reach the third round of the US Open

Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) again demonstrated that she is in excellent form after giving only 4 games to Lucia Bronzetti (Italy) in a match of the second round of the US Open. The Belarusian tennis player, who is the runner-up from the last year’s edition of the tournament, won by 2-0 (6:3, 6:1) in just 61 minutes.

The match started evenly, but after a 2:2 in the first set, Lucia Bronzetti won only two more games until the end of the match.

In the next round, Aryna Sabalenka will face Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia), who had a tough match versus the American teenage talent Iva Jovic by 2-1 (4:6, 6:4, 7:5).

Earlier, Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine) eliminated Harriet Dart (Great Britain) after 2-0 (7:6, 6:1), while Yafan Wang (China) defeated Diane Parry (France) by 2-0 (6:0, 6:4).
