Blair O’Neal is an American golfer with more than 10 years of professional golf experience. She gained twice the status on the LPGA Symetra Tour.
Blair O’Neal was born on May 14, 1981, in Macomb, Illinois, United States. She was introduced to golf by her father at the age of 11. She started training regularly and golf became her passion. Blair O’Neal was chosen to play for the American Junior Golf Association when she was only 13 years old, and it wasn’t long before she proved to be one of the most talented young golfers in the US.
After four years of collegiate golf at Arizona State University, she turned to professional golf for over 10 years. She quickly gained status on the LPGA Symetra Tour (then known as the LPGA Futures Tour), but was forced to put her professional golf career on hold shortly after gaining status on the LPGA Futures Tour due to injury.
Blair O’Neal was the winner of the Golf Channel’s BIG BREAK: Dominican Republic as well as the runner-up on BIG BREAK: Prince Edward Island.
After a short stint playing golf in Asia, she regained her status on the LPGA Symetra Tour (then known as the LPGA Futures Tour). In 2012, Blair O’Neal began her first full season on the LPGA Symetra Tour and played there full-time through 2014. She continued to play golf full-time until 2015 when she decided to slowly turn toward the media world, and become a television personality.
Currently, she appears on a variety of Golf Channel programs, most notably as host or co-host of School of Golf, Best Lessons Ever, and Como Concepts.
