The UFC reigning Women’s Featherweight and former Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes left with her longtime American Top Team (ATT) in Florida.
Amanda “Lioness” Nunes has decided to set up her own hall and team in the same area. The veteran left ATT after nearly 8 years.
In her last fight, Amanda Nunes lost her Bantamweight title to Julianna Pena in UFC 269. It was the first loss for the Brazilian since 2014 (12 fights) and her first defeat as a champion.
After the battle, Amanda Nunes expressed a desire for a rematch with Julianna Pena, but not before arranging things. It seems part of the lineup is a change of team.
Dana White has also agreed to a rematch, but it is not yet known how long the break Amanda Nunes will want.
Amanda “Lioness” Nunes has a personal MMA record of 21-5-0 (W-L-D).
