Alycia Parks advanced to the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Morocco Open in Rabat

The 4th-seeded Alycia Parks (USA) advanced to the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Morocco Open in Rabat with a prize pool of 259,303 USD.

The 22-year-old Alycia Parks eliminated in the second round Kamilla Rakhimova (Russia) by 2-0 (6:4, 6:1) after eliminating another Russian player in the first round – Anastasia Tikhonova by 2-0 (6:3, 7:6).

In the quarter-finals, the American tennis player will face Lucia Bronzetti (Italy), who eliminated the 8th-seeded Tatjana Maria by 2-1 (6:7, 6:4, 7:5).

Julia Riera (Argentina) defeated Mayar Sherif (Egypt) by 2-0 (7:5, 7:5) and in the quarter-finals will face Yulia Putintseva (Kazakhstan), who eliminated Leolia Jeanjean after 2-0 (6:2, 6:1).

The 2nd-seeded Sloane Stephens (USA) eliminated Timea Babos (Hungary) after 2-0 (6:3, 6:1), while the top-seeded Martina Trevisan (Italy) defeated Jana Fett (Croatia) by 2-0 (7:5, 7:5) and in the quarter-finals will face Julia Grabher (Austria), who eliminated Cagla Buyukakcay (Turkey) by 2-0 (6:1, 7:6).
