Aliphine Chepkerker Tuliamuk won the 2023 USA Half Marathon Championships

Aliphine Chepkerker Tuliamuk won the 2023 USA Half Marathon Championships in Fort Worth. The Kenyan-born American long-distance runner finished for 1:09:37 hours, which is her personal best in the discipline.

She succeeded to win amid a strong final meters competition with her compatriot Lauren Paquette, who finished only 14 seconds behind. Third in the competition remained Nell Rojas (USA) a minute and a half behind the winner.

The Top 5 in the 2023 USA Half Marathon Championships was completed by Molly Grabill and Jessa Hanson.

Aliphine Chepkerker Tuliamuk is a Kenyan-born American long-distance runner. She placed first at the 2020 Olympic Marathon trials in Atlanta and represented the United States at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Aliphine Chepkerker Tuliamuk has been a world-class athlete since placing 9th in 21:09 at the 2005 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Junior women’s race. She ran 33:43 to place 15th at 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. Aliphine Chepkerker Tuliamuk placed 3rd at the 2019 Rotterdam Marathon in 2:26:50.
