Alexandra Trusova misses the Russian Show Jumping Championship in St Petersburg

The silver medalist in figure skating from the Beijing 2022 Olympics, Alexandra Trusova, will not participate in the Russian Show Jumping Championship in St Petersburg, but this is not related to her health.

The championship will be held on December 4. Within the competition day, there will be teams and individual tournaments.

In the team competition, coaches Evgeni Plushenko, Eteri Tutberidze, and Alexei Mishin will form teams of figure skaters from their academies, as well as there will be specially invited athletes. In the individual tournament, the champions of Russia in jumping for women and men, as well as the absolute champion in all categories, will be determined.

The 18-year-old Alexandra Trusova is a silver medalist from the Beijing 2022 Olympics and a bronze medalist from the World Championships in 2021. She is the first and only figure skater in the world to perform five quadruple jumps in one program. She is also a two-time European bronze medalist (2020 and 2022), the 2019 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2021 Skate America champion.
