The American track-and-field athlete Gabrielle Thomas won the 200m gold at the Paris Diamond League, defeating the 2019 World champion Dina Asher-Smith (UK) and NCAA record holder Abby Steiner (USA).
Gabrielle Thomas took the 200m sprint distance in 22.05 sec, winning the gold.
The American athlete Abby Steiner earned the silver with 22.34 sec, while Marie-Josee Ta Lou (Cote d’Ivoire) remained with the bronze on thousands of sec behind the silver medalist.
Dina Asher-Smith (UK) and Kayla White (USA) remained outside the medals’ zone.
Meanwhile, Caroller Zahi (France) smashed the competition in 100m, winning the spirt in 100m with a season’s best of 11.40 sec. Lucia Carrillo (Spain) remained with silver and a time of 11.51 sec, while Marie-Ange Rimlinger (France) took the bronze with 11.52 sec.
