Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the high jump gold at the Diamond League in Rabat (Morocco) in an undisputed way. The European champion from Munich 2022, indoor world champion and outdoor runner-up from last year’s forum finished first with a result of 2.01m, which topped the world rankings for the season. Yaroslava Mahuchikh also broke Blanka Vlasic’s tournament record (1.97m) from 2011.
Yaroslava Mahuchikh finished 10 centimeters ahead of the second – her compatriot Iryna Gerashchenko, who overcame 1.91m.
The Kazakhstani athlete Nadezhda Dubovitskaya ranked third with 1.87m.
In the Rabat Diamond League’s triple jump the gold went to Leyanis Perez Hernandez (Cuba) with 14.84m, while Ukrainian athlete Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk remained with silver after jumping 14.65m. The bronze went to Shanieka Ricketts with 14.53m.
Belgrade 2022 indoor world champion Auriol Dongmo (Portugal) won the women’s shot put with 19.28m, while silver went to Jessica Schilder (Netherlands) with 18.85m and the the bronze went to Jessica Woodard (USA) by 18:65m.
