The Russsian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova qualified for the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Internationaux De Strasbourg after defeating the top-seeded Magda Linette (Poland) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:2) in 1:28 hours.

The Russian player recorded 3 breaks in the first se, against only one for her opponent, and 2 breks in the second set, which proved to be enough for her to win the match. In the quarter-finals, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will face Lauren Davis (USA), who eliminated Viktoriya Tomova (Bulgaria) after 2-1 (6:4, 3:6, 6:1).

Varvara Gracheva (Russia) also advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament after defeating Selena Janicijevic (France) by 2-0 (6:2, 6:1).

Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) also advanced to the next round after walkover of Erin Routliffe (New Zealand).
