Fenerbahce Opet gets closer to Turkey women’s volleyball title

Fenerbahce Opet defeated Eczacibasi Dynavit by 3-2 (25:18, 23:25, 25:16, 17:25, 15:10) in the second leg of the Turkey women’s volleyball final, leading the series with 2-0 and just a win from the trophy.

Fenerbahce Opet has five titles – in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2017. Eczacibasi Dynavit is the most titled club – with 16 trophies.

The most effective player for Fenerbahce Opet was Melissa Vargas with 28 points (1 ace, 3 blocks), while Arina Fedorovtseva added 22 points (5 aces, 2 blocks) and Ana Cristina Souza added 16 points (3 aces).

For Eczacibasi Dynavit, Tijana Boskovic scored 27 points (1 block), while Irina Voronkova finished with 13 points.

The third match is on May 11.
