Zinovia Vaneva is Bulgarian tennis player. She prefers clay and played for the Bulgarian national team of all ages. Zinovia Vaneva is the Bulgarian national champion and 2013 Bulgaria Cup U14 winner. She is one of the biggest Bulgarian young tennis talents.
Zinovia Vaneva was born on October 29, 1999, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She started in tennis at only 5 years old and showed her great skills and abilities. She competed at the 2011 Junior Orange Bowl and 2011 Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships and won the 2013 Bulgaria Cup U14, defeating Elena Rybakina en route to the title. She was considered one of the biggest Bulgarian young tennis talents.
Zinovia Vaneva made her professional debut in 2015 at the ITF tournament $10,000 Plovdiv (Bulgaria), but lost in the first round already. During the season she played at two more ITF tournaments in Bulgaria – $10,000 W15 Sozopol and $10,000 Albena, but failed to gain some success. During the season, however, she won the titles at junior tour at the J4 Sofia \ Dema Cup and J4 Zagreb \ Junior Zagreb Cup.
In 2016, she played again in the junior and ITF Circuit, but without significant success, reaching the second rounds of the $10,000 W15 Sozopol (Bulgaria) and $10,000 W15 Antalya (Turkey).
Zinovia Vaneva turned entirely to the ITF Circuit in 2017, playing at the $15,000 Istanbul (Turkey), $15,000 Curtea de Arges (Romania), and $15,000 W15 Antalya (Turkey), but her biggest success was reaching the second round.
During the next year, she was followed by plenty of injuries, including a knee injury which seriously disturbed her performance and the international matches.
In 2019 she reached the quarter-finals of the $15,000 W15 Sozopol (Bulgaria).
In 2022, she repeated the success, reaching the quarter-finals of the $15,000 W15 Antalya (Turkey).
