The women’s volleyball team Paris Saint-Cloud took a lead in the quarter-finals play-off of the French Ligue A Women after defeating Venelles by 3-1 (13:25, 25:18, 25:21, 25:18)
Bulgarian volleyball player Radostina Marinova scored 21 points (1 ace, 1 block, 48% attack efficiency – +15) and became the top scorer for the winners. Another Bulgarian, Maria Yordanova, added 13 more points (2 aces, 1 block, 32% attack efficiency, 7% perfect and 40% positive reception – +1).
Samantha Drexel was the most effective for Venelles with 19 points (2 aces, 2 blocks).
In the other quarter-finals play-offs, Mulhouse defeated RC Cannes by 3-0 (25:20, 25:13, 25:19), Nantes overturned Le Cannet by 3-2 (25:13, 25:27, 18:25, 25:22, 15:10), and Beziers smashed TFOC by 3-0 (25:21, 25:23, 25:23).
