The 2nd-seeded Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) defeated Marie Bouzkova (Czech Republic) and qualified for the fourth round of the WTA 1000 Miami Open. The Belarusian tennis player needed a little more than an hour to close the match by 2-0 (6:1, 6:2).
Aryna Sabalenka made a total of four break, two in each set, and did not give a single breakpoint to her opponent. She was controlling the match during the whole time and deserved her place in the round of 16 of the prestigious Masters’ tournament.
In the fourth round, Aryna Sabalenka will face 16th-seeded Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic), who defeated Madison Keys (USA) by 2-0 (7:6, 6:3).
The 15th-seeded Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) also qualified for the fourth round of the tournament after a victory over Donna Vekic (Croatia) by 2-0 (6:4, 7:6) and will face Varvara Gracheva (Russia).
Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia) defeated Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Belinda Bencic (Switzerland) by 2-0 (7:6, 6:3) and also goes ahead in the tennis tournament.
