The Saint Lucian sprinter won the NCAA Division I indoor championships in Albuquerque with a time of 6.94 sec, after running 6.96 sec in the heats. The 60m world record is 6.92 sec, held by Irina Privalova. Thus, Julien Alfred is now number 2 in the all-time ranking of the discipline.
