At the age of 17, Tijana Boskovic moved from Partizan (Belgrade) to Eczacibasi Dynavit (Istanbul) in 2015, and now the Turkish giants have made her the highest-paid volleyball player in the world.
She signed a contract for another 2 years with Eczacibasi Dynavit (Istanbul) for a total of 2,900,000 EUR, 1,450,000 EUR per season.
All the strong Italian teams and another Turkish giant, VakifBank S.K., which was looking for a replacement for the Italian Paola Egonu, claimed the Serbian diagonal’s signature.
Probably, it was precise because Eczacibasi Dynavit proposed this contract and started the negotiations.
Thus, the best volleyball player of Eurovolley 2017 and Eurovolley 2019 and two-time world champion (2018, 2022) agreed to stay in the club where she has been playing since 2015.
As reported by Volley News, she has signed a 1+1 year contract.
Even with Tijana Boskovic, Eczacibasi Dynavit has never won the championship of Turkey or the Champions League. The team and the Serbian volleyball player have only won the World Club Championship in 2016. However, the Turkish giant does not want to part with its captain, because they can build a championship team with her.
In addition to Tijana Boskovic, the receivers Irina Voronkova and Hande Baladin signed contracts with Eczacibasi Dynavit for the 2023/24 season, as well as the central blocker from Trinidad and Tobago Sinead Jack-Kisal, who married a Turkish volleyball player and took Turkish citizenship.
