Belinda Bencic smashed Viktoriya Tomova to qualify for the second round of the WTA 500 Qatar TotalEnergies Open

Belinda Bencic smashed Viktoriya Tomova (Bulgaria) by 2-0 (6:0, 6:1) to qualify for the second round of the WTA 500 Qatar TotalEnergies Open in Doha. The Swiss, who is Tokyo 2020 Olympics champion, needed only one hour to overcome the Bulgarian qualifier.

In the next round, Belinda Bencic will face Victoria Azarenka (Belarus).

The American tennis player Danielle Collins defeated Elise Mertens (Belgium) by 2-0 (6:4; 7:6) and in the second round will face the top-seeded Iga Swiatek.
