Caroline Garcia defeated Maria Sakkari to reach the final of the WTA Finals Fort Worth tournament. The French tennis player won by 2-0 (6:3, 6:2) for 76 minutes of play.

Caroline Garcia made 21 winners and 17 unforced errors again 8 winners and 18 forced errors for her opponent. The French player was definitely more stable on the court and won convincingly the match.

The first set started equally and Caroline Garcia made the first break in the 4th game. However, Maria Sakkari returned the break immediately and served to equalize. However, Caroline Garcia did it again and took a lead with one break ahead. Both players exchanged a win in the next serve game and the French player served for the set, winning it on zero. Thus, Caroline Garcia won the set by 6:3.

Caroline Garcia had a fly start in the second set. She took a lead with 2 breaks and won the starting four games. This was quite enough for her to close the set by 6:2 and to qualify for the final.

Caroline Garcia will face the winner between Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka n the final of the last tournaments of the WTA season.
