Aryna Sabalenka qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA Finals Fort Worth. The Belarusian tennis player defeated Jessica Pegula by 2-0 (6:3, 7:5) in 1:32 hours.
Aryna Sabalenka started fantastic the first set with an early break at the opening game. She took another break in the seventh game and despite losing 4 set points and allowing her opponent to return one of the breaks, however the Belarusian tennis player won the set by 6:3.
The second set started equally and both players exchanged a by two breaks and it was running toward tiebreak. However, in the 12th game, Aryna Sabalenka received two break points at 15-40, and succeeded to close the match at the second, thus qualifying for the semi-finals of the WTA Finals Fort Worth.
