The tennis world’s number one Iga Swiatek (Poland) won the title at the WTA 500 San Diego Open with a prize fund of 757,900 USD. In the final, Iga Swiatek achieved a difficult success against the qualifier Donna Vekic (Croatia) with 2-1 (6:3, 3:6, 6:0). The match lasted 1:49 hours.

The Polish tennis player started strongly, breaking through to take a 4:2 lead, then without any problem, it finished 6:3 in her favor

In the second set, it developed in a similar way, but this time Donna Vekic made a break for 4:2. The Croatian tied the sets after 6:3.

Expectations for a contested third set were not met. Iga Swiatek won by 6:0 after making three breaks and deservedly cruised to his eighth title of the season.
