Olympic vice-champion in rhythmic gymnastics from Tokyo 2020 and 18-time world champion Dina Averina received a diploma from the Book of Records in Russia for the most gold medals won at the World Championships.
The award ceremony took place after the end of the competition day of the second stage of the “Cup of the Strongest” in Moscow.
The 24-year-old Dina Averina, 18-time world and 10-time European champion, is one of the most successful gymnasts in the last few years.
Dina Averina is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around silver medalist, the only four-time (2021, 2019, 2018, 2017) World All-around Champion, the 2018 silver and 2021 European All-around bronze medalist, and the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around silver medalist. On a National level, she is 2017, 2018, and 2022 Russian National All-around champion and the 2013 Russian Junior All-around bronze medalist. Her identical twin sister, Arina Averina, is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
