The volleyball players of the German women’s national team achieved a second consecutive victory in Group C of the Women’s Volleyball World Championship in the Netherlands and Poland.
Germany defeated Kazakhstan by 3-0 (25:15, 25:18, 25:21) in a match of the 2nd round, which was played in Arnhem.
Jennifer Janiska was the top scorer for Germany with 17 points (5 aces, 2 blocks). Kimberly Drewniok added 13 points (1 ace, 1 block), while Camilla Weitzel had 10 points (3 blocks).
Kristina Belova was the top scorer for Kazakhstan with 10 points, and Nataliya Smirnova added 7 points.
In the first match in Group C, Germany beat Bulgaria 3:1. The team is second in Group C with 6 points, behind the USA, which has not lost a game so far.
The next match for Germany is versus Serbian on Thursday (29.09).
