European champion Daria Atamanov from Israel will not participate in the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Sofia due to an injury. Daria Atamanov, who won gold in the all-around at the European Championships in Tel Aviv in June, suffered the injury in training.
The Israeli, who trains under Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Linoy Ashram, arrived in Sofia and held an official training session on Monday, after which she was injured and did not take to the carpet for the hoop and ball qualifiers.
