“Hi, as some of you may already know, I have had nose problems for some time and especially during the summer and the tournament in Washington. The problem made it difficult for me to breathe and especially at night when my nose was completely blocked. The only problem is that I’m getting better to have surgery”, said Simona Halep. “Everything went well. I need a few weeks rest before to resume physical training again. See you soon on the tennis court”, added she.
Simona Halep was eliminated in the first round of the US Open by Ukrainian qualifier Daria Snigur.
