Nigeria’s biggest athletics star at the moment, Tobi Amusan, believes she can continue her winning streak at the Diamond League finals in Zurich on Thursday. The world champion and gold medalist in the 100m hurdles, who also holds the world record in the event, is looking forward to her performance in Switzerland.
On Sunday, she won the ISTAF tournament in Berlin with 12.45 sec.
Oluwatobiloba Ayomide “Tobi” Amusan is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specialises in the 100m hurdles and also competes as a sprinter. She is the current African, Commonwealth, and World Champion in the 100m hurdles as well as the record holder in the three competitions. She became the first Nigerian world champion in an athletics event when she won the 2022 World Athletics Championships 100m hurdles gold medal.
