The women basketball team of Gorzow qualified for the semi-final play-offs of the Polish Energa Basket Liga Women after winning as a visitor of AZS Poznan by 65:80. This is the third win for the basketball players of Gorzow and with a total result of 3-0 in the series, they qualify for the next round.
The visitors started the match more aggressively without giving a chance to the opponents. They needed the 3rd win to secure their position in the semi-finals. They were the better team on the field and deservedly won with 65:80 (19:26; 24:22; 12:22; 10:10).
The MVP for Gorzow was the American Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, with 21 pts, 4 rebs, and 1 ast. Great performance for the visitors also made Megan Gustafson with 20 pts, 9 rebs, and 2 asts.
For the hosts of AZS Poznan, the best on the field was another American AZS Poznan with 19 pts, 6 rebs and 4 asts.
In the other play-offs, Arka Gdynia qualified after eliminating Sosnowiec with 3-0, while Polkowic eliminated Politech Gdanska with 3-0.
The fourth quarter-final play-off between Lublin and Artego Bydgoszcz is 2-2 and the 5th match will be played tomorrow.
