The World Indoor champion in long jump Ivana Spanovic-Vuleta topped the world rankings for the season. The 31-year-old Serbian, a three-time European indoor champion, finished 6.85 meters in a race in Belgrade yesterday.
In her other successful attempts, Ivana Spanovic-Vuleta registered 6.83 m, 6.62 m, 6.63 m, and 6.75 m.
Thus, the Serbian long jumper made the best result for the season so far.
The next competition for Ivana Spanovic-Vuleta is expected on February 19 in Birmingham, and she will also participate in the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, from March 18 to 20.
Ivana Spanovic-Vuleta is the reigning World indoor champion, as well as three times European indoor champion. She is also the bronze medalist from Rio 2016 Olympics. She also has a silver medal from the 2016 Portland IAAF World Indoor Championships, as well as a bronze medal from the 2014 Sopot IAAF World Indoor Championships.
