The women’s team of Imoco Volley Conegliano qualified for the quarterfinals of the most prestigious European tournament – the Champions League. The team led by Daniele Santarelli smashed the Serbian ZOK Ub with 3:0 (25:16, 25:22, 25:13) in a match of Group E of the competition.
Imoco Volley Conegliano is the leader in the standings with 15 points (5 wins), ZOK Ub is third with 3 points (1 win, 4 losses).
The Bulgarian national player Hristina Vuchkova made a great match, scoring 14 points (2 aces, 5 blocks) and was awarded the MVP of the match.
Raphaela Folie finished with 12 points (2 aces, 3 blocks), Giorgia Frosini added 11 points (1 ace, 1 block). For the Serbian team Ljiljana Rankovic finished with 9 points (1 ace, 1 block), Aleksandra Gligoric scored 7 points (1 block).
In his last match of the group stage, Imoco Volley Conegliano will play against the Polish Chemik Police, on February 15 (Tuesday). ZOK Ub plays against FATUM Nyíregyhaza.
