The indoor European champion in the long jump of Torun 2021 and silver medalist of the World Outdoor Championships in Doha 2019 Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk made an impressive debut in the triple jump.
The 26-year-old athlete triumphed at the Ukrainian National Indoor Championships over the weekend after winning her first 14.34-meter triple jump competition.
Interestingly, Olha Saladukha, who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the triple jump, then reached 13.91 m and dropped out of qualifying. In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk participated in the long jump and finished fifth.
Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk is a Ukrainian long jumper, who finished fifth at the 2011 World Youth Championships, eighth at the 2012 World Junior Championships, and won the bronze medal at the 2013 European Junior Championships. She finished ninth at the 2014 World Junior Championships.
